Watch and see what a partnership with The Leprosy Mission would look like
Church Reps play an essential and vital role in deepening this relationship and creating long term support. You can play a key role in spreading our message in your church and amongst your network.
In doing so, you will help raise awareness, critical funds and encourage prayer support by sharing the needs of those affected by leprosy. Click on the headings below for more information
There are so many ways in which church reps can do this, allowing flexibility to make the role suit you and your church. A few examples are, holding a coffee morning, bringing sale and return shop where items from the TLM shop can be brought to a meeting or event, having an annual collection in your church, using TLM collection boxes.
No experience is necessary as full support and guidance is provided. If you are interested in becoming a church rep or would just like more information, please get in touch:
The last Sunday in January is World Leprosy Day. It is a great opportunity to raise our voice on behalf of those affected by leprosy. You could give a short update yourself, or book a speaker to come, or pass on our online resources to your minister. Find Out More about World Leprosy Day and see examples.
We have created online sermon and prayer resources which we hope you will be able to use in your church services and groups to update them on the work of The Leprosy Mission. We have centred these resources around specific themes:
Keeping your church up to date on the work of TLM. This may be through giving out our supporter magazine INTouch and our prayer resource ASK.
